Oh halloween. So much anticipation and then over in a few tantrums and exactly TWO houses visited for trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
Rory is too young to understand Halloween. In the days and weeks leading up to the holiday I would ask him what he wanted to be and he would often say "I want to be Rory". Smart kid. And nothing wrong with that. Except of course that I really wanted to see him all dressed up in something cute so I could take pictures with his brother. At this age... Halloween may indeed be more for parents.
Anyway, a firefighter and Thomas made it into the festivities this year, as well as our little monkey. We made it out for about an hour on Halloween night and two houses was all Rory needed (and his first chocolate bar) to make a sprint back to Gram's and end the evening there.
