Did you notice that childcare facilities of today are a far cry from the old daycare centers of yore? I read in this link - Daycare that the creative arts, including music, movement, dramatic play, puppetry, painting, sculpture, and drawing, are a crucial part of early childhood. Not only do the arts allow children to express themselves, but creative activity can enhance development of children's skills in literacy, science, math, social studies, and more. I've wondered about the Dad's parting with babies v. moms myself - and many have told me as well that moms let Dads do it because they can't stomach the sad little faces - not sure I buy it though. In my experience new mothers who are a little anxious about their abilities to care for kids and handle the emotional ups and down prove themselves wrong quite quickly. We're only on day 2 of my returning back to work but I'm certain Eliza is gaining confidence every hour she has alone with Fenton. Shall we talk on the phone this weekend, or are you two swamped?Brookeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06185426704835596940noreply@blogger.com
